  • hannah ramone is an experimental pop singer-songwriter from Seattle who pushes the boundaries of genre and expectation with twisting vocal loops, synthesizers and pianos through songs made for people who are healing.

  • Hannah Ramone (they/them) is a Seattle-based experimental pop singer-songwriter, vocalist, pianist, and vocal coach. Known for pushing the boundaries of genre and expectation, Hannah crafts songs designed for people who are healing and evolving, blending twisting vocal loops, synthesizers, and gutteral pianos to create a unique soundscape. Performing with long-time collaborator Matt Badger, the duo captivates audiences with their intuitive onstage presence and dynamic use of multi-instrumental setups, including vocal and guitar loopers, synthesizers, rock piano, and both electronic and acoustic drums.

As veterans of the Seattle music scene, Hannah and Matt bring a wealth of experience to their performances. Hannah has recorded and performed with bands like Friday Mile and Youth Rescue Mission, while Matt has made his mark with Ravenna Woods and as a solo artist. In 2020, Hannah released their debut record Some Kind of Humanness, followed by the full-band record For All We Know in 2023. Their work garnered recognition, placing them among the top 40 nominees for the local Sonic Guild Artist Grant in 2023.

    Hannah’s upcoming EP,

    how to love (yourself)

, recorded at Hall of Justice Recording Studios and co-produced and performed with Matt Badger, features a collaboration with Seatlte experimental hip-hop artist Taylar Elizza Beth. The EP’s singles, “clarity” and “taught me to love,” showcase Hannah’s cinematic and transporting musical style, often compared to artists like Portishead, Björk, James Blake, Fiona Apple, and Sia.
